I learnt so much in my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course with MCFE that I completed the Diploma here too. I’ve been working for over 2 years at a long day care centre and I love it!
    Anna Chen

After completing my Certificate III in Early Childhood with MCFE, which I loved, I recently became room leader of the babies’ room at my centre so have started my Diploma here too as I know the skills I’ll learn will be invaluable

I’ve been working in the industry full time since the day after I finished my course. Without MCFE I wouldn’t be working in my dream career

I loved the flexibility of the course and having classes on Saturday made sure it didn’t interfere with my business in family day care and my family commitments. Our tutor was very knowledgeable and always ready to help

    Got Questions?

Practical placement is on the job training that you undertake during your course. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice the skills you are learning in the classroom in a supported manner.

MCFE requires you to complete 240 hours in the workplace in total and your trainer will visit you in the workplace to discuss any questions you have or go over training, and to observe and assess competency in skills towards the end of your placement hours.

The course is delivered over 46 face-to-face sessions with 1 session held each week. In addition to face-to-face classes you will be required to undertake self paced learning, which is approximately 15 hours on average per week.

It is expected that the course could take you 15 months to complete, though this can vary from person to person.

The VET Student Loans program is an income contingent loan offered by the Australian Government that helps eligible students pay for some vocational education and training (VET) diploma level or above courses.
