Overview

Your cert 3 in childcare in Melton is the nationally recognised qualification CHC30121 – Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care. The certificate 3 in early childhood education and care is critical to learning the fundamental skills and knowledge to provide safe care and suitable education for babies through to toddlers and kindergarten.

This early childhood education and care course will ensure you build your skills to become a professional and confident childcare educator. As an educator, you will be responsible for providing the best possible care of children within a childcare service, based on the needs of each individual child and their programs. To become an educator and commence work in early childhood education you need to be enrolled and working towards a cert 3 in childcare in Melton. After completing the CHC30121 –Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care, you may go on to complete a CHC50121 – Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

General Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Evidence of citizenship/residency, you must be either:

    2 funded skills sets in one year
  3. You can undertake up to 2 funded programs at one time
  4. You must not be enrolled in school (including government, non-government, independent, Catholic or home school or the Commonwealth SEE program). University is OK!
