Adding a Diploma level qualification to a Certificate III allows you to learn the key foundation skills, in particular, if they differ in the customs of your home country. And once these key foundation skills are achieved you can progress to the Diploma course which provides you with skills and knowledge for higher level positions within this industry and standard business management practices.

ORIENTATION

We offer an orientation class usually 1 week before the start date of your course. This gives you a chance to ask any questions to your trainer or support staff.

CLASS START DATE

This will be the starting date of your course. By this date you should have already attended the Orientation session and have all your books ready.

Entry Requirements

  • IELTS 5.5*
  • Equivalence of high school certificate
  • Must be an International student
  • Genuinely want to do our course
  • Hold overseas health cover
  • Can pay our course fees on time, 1 year in advance
  • You need to have enough money that is genuinely available to you, to pay for your course fees, and travel and living costs for you and your accompanying family members while you are in Australia. You might need to provide evidence to Home Affairs of your financial capacity with your visa application. Check the Document Checklist tool to find out the evidence you need to provide.

*Other evidence of English language, the test must have been taken no more than two years before you apply for your student visa.

Applying for the course and organising everything you need like your VISA, accommodation, funds and transport can be difficult. It has 3 campus locations in Melbourne’s central business district, the capital city of the State of Victoria. Melbourne has an excellent public transport system with trams, trains and buses providing an extensive network throughout the city and suburbs.

MCFE is particularly attuned to the needs of its international students in the support and services they might need to adjust to study and life in Australia, to achieve their learning goals and to achieve satisfactory progress towards meeting the learning outcomes of their course.

MCFE provides an induction/orientation program for our international students covering:

MCFE has a designated a Student Services Coordinator to assist international students in settling into training in Australia.
