Application Process and Entry Requirements

Application Process

The following are the basic steps involved in lodging your application for an International course with MCFE.

  1. Complete the online enquiry form below– (or via your Education Agent)
  2. MCFE will email you an Enrolment Application Form for your selected course(s)
  3. Read the International Student Handbook and course brochure in detail
  4. You complete this enrolment form and attach ALL required evidence
  5. MCFE reviews the application and if successful will invite you to participate in an online interview (10 mins)
  6. MCFE accepts enrolment applications and will send you a Letter of Offer to sign
  7. You will make the initial payment – 25% of the first course fees + the application fee $150
  8. Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) issued to you
  9. You submit for Visa application
  10. When approved we will send you pre-course information
  11. Arrive in Australia – attend our Orientation session
  12. Start your course
  • IELTS 5.5* or other Equivalent English Score (see next tab)
    • the test must have been taken no more than two years before you apply for your student visa.
  • Equivalence of high school certificate
  • Must be an International student
  • Genuinely want to do our course
  • Meet the Department of Immigration’s Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirements
  • Hold overseas health cover
  • Can pay our course fees on time
  • You need to have enough money that is genuinely available to you, to pay for your course fees, and travel and living costs for you and your accompanying family members while you are in Australia. You might need to provide evidence to Home Affairs of your financial capacity with your visa application. Check the Document Checklist tool to find out the evidence you need to provide.

It has 3 campus locations in Melbourne’s central business district, the capital city of the State of Victoria. MCFE has a designated a Student Services Coordinator to assist international students in settling into training in Australia.
